Bad Weather Resulted In School Closing

For the whole year, there will be a month with a bad weather almost happen to every country. This is usually happen on December of every year. The month is well known as a month with slow activity and productivity. What usually happen at this time are the school and office would be closed for the citizen’s safety.
It also happen at my place where there was heavy rain continuously day by day, sometimes till a week. The town with lacked of drain and the village at lowland area started to submerged with water.
I believe, this phenomena is also happen in your country. Like what happen in United States, the University of Wisconsin-Madison cancels class as severe snowstorm blankets Wisconsin. While at Ottawa, there is no school bus service in the city as well as with the flight at the Ottawa Airport.
I just wanted to say that make sure you don’t risk yourself by going out while weather blizzard such as heavy rain, flood, snowstorm and so on. Don’t be one of the bad weather victims. Love your family and yourself thou.
I grew up in Utah, home of “the greatest snow on earth” and host of the 2002 Olympic winter games.
In spite of that, my entire youth there was only ONE HALF of ONE snow day. My sophomore year in high school, we got to leave school about 2 hours early (if that) because of snow. But were back the next day.
Bummer.

My country got a lot of rain. There are flood during these days. Need to be careful =)

Sometimes I wonder if there is any technology invented to face this problem so no school will be closed during extreme weather. I guess there is solution for that but it might still on hold due to expensive, etc.

Yeah, maybe there’s a solution and maybe not. Weather is something that usually we can’t control and predict them. This is mostly cause the increasing of global warming. We should be aware about it.

I live at the central part of India.
I haven’t experience snow fall ever. In Himalayas region only (northeren part of India) people find snow. when i watch in TV i wish to visit these places.
But I think life stops in winter.

Everything which is happen in ‘overdose’ would turn to bad. If the snow is just in average, I believe everyone would love to have it most of time.

Yup, but we should realize, the global warming is caused by us, human being who didn’t aware much about how important to take a good care of the earth.
My dad was noted that there wasn’t going to be school tomorrow, my teacher says don’t get your hopes up your going to have school tomorrow. The snow went up to my freakin’ knees. Really horrible cold temperatures, snow drifts, etc. It’s snowing right now.. it’s been doing that since 12:10 when i was at school. it’s pretty deep to me..

Oh really? It seems worse whenever snow comes a lot. A thought it is so fun to have snow in my country. But, maybe it’s fun if comes a little. Hope you take care of yourself there.
